Will I meet my wedding day
consultants prior to my wedding day?
Absolutely!! We typically assign the wedding day
coordinators a couple months before your wedding date.
coordinator's that will be with you on your wedding day and will meet with you to go over the
checklists and wedding day timeline which we prepare. One of the two coordinator's
will also accompany you when you meet with your venue for the final detail meeting.
What does the complimentary
meeting include?
Once you
set the appointment, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire that will be used during your meeting. You will meet
with Denise and she will go over the packages and pricing information, talk with you to
see what services you need, and show you the portfolio of weddings we have done.
How do you determine your
time for my wedding day?
This all depends on which package you select.
We typically like to arrive at least 1 hour prior to your ceremony start time. The
time for the day is usually discussed at your detail meeting when we have a better
understanding of how much set up we need to do.
Your packages state there
are two consultants present at each wedding. Are both consultant's at the
church & reception?
Yes - both
consultant's would arrive at the church at the same time. Once the bride walks down the aisle, one consultant would leave and
go to the reception site to get > everything ready for when the guests arrive.
The other consultant would remain at the church until it is over, and then would go to
the reception site to help finish any set up that needs to be done prior to guests arrival.
What is a Bridal
Consultant?
A bridal consultant is a professional whose
training, expertise, and contacts will help make your wedding as close to perfect as it possibly can be
and let you relax and enjoy your wedding.
What will a Bridal
Consultant do for me?
In addition
to helping make your wedding dreams come true within your budget and perhaps saving you from costly mistakes, a consultant will
save you time. A professional consultant, working with you, can handle the
details, allowing you the freedom to do what you want to do.
Do I need a contract with
my consultant?
You should
have some agreement in writing. An informal contract, letter of agreement, which spells out what each of you will do, fees and
payment schedules usually is enough.
What will a Bridal
Consultant charge?
A consultant
can charge a percent of the cost of the wedding. Some consultants charge an hourly rate or a fixed fee.
Can I afford a Bridal
Consultant?
A wedding
consultant is part of your budget, not an extra expense. You often save money because a consultant suggests less expensive
alternatives that still enhance your wedding. Consultants often can obtain discounts
from suppliers.
What information should I
have prior to coming to my first consultation?
1. Date
and Time: the time of year and the time of day can greatly affect what type
of wedding you will have. 2. Budget: figure out how much you'll be able to
spend. 3. Guests: by knowing how many guests
you want at the wedding will affect how you choose your reception site. 4. Special Situations: let your consultant
know if there are any special situations in your family. 5. Wants and Desires: let your consultant
know if there is something you must absolutely have as part of your wedding.
